One with India is a weeklong series of Yoga, Pranayama & Meditation events by different teachers from across the world to raise funds for Covid Relief in India.
These events will be held on a donation basis the proceedings of which will be donated to the ‘Breathe India with Sarveda‘ campaign which will help secure oxygen concentrators and cylinders across Delhi and UP.

Here are the sessions lined up for the week:
Session 1:
The first session, ‘Breath-work & Guided Meditation‘ will be conducted by ShashiRekha Alur, a teacher at the Art of Living Foundation and a member of the International Association for Human values. She has worked with over 70,000 children from 700 schools as a part of the ‘Care of Children’ program and helps kids and adults from around the world gain inner balance and peace.
The session would involve learning simple breathing and meditation techniques to center the mind and improve immunity.
This session will be held live on Zoom from 7:30-8:30 pm IST on the 10th of May, 2021.
Session 2:
The second session, ‘Yoga Asanas for Better Immunity’ will be conducted by Saja Ammar Arora, co-founder of Shakti Wellness Center, Beirut(@shaktibeirut or shakti.life) and would focus on Yogic Asanas for improving respiration and building strong immunity.
Saja learnt Hatha Yoga from Sivananda Ashram and is also a practitioner of Ayurveda and Kalaripayattu.
This session will be held live on Zoom and Instagram/Facebook from 7:30-8:30 pm IST on the 11th of May, 2021.
Session 3:
Our Third Session, ‘Improving Immunity with Ayurveda‘ will be conducted by Dr Deepa Apte, who is a medical doctor, Ayurvedic practitioner and a Yoga teacher, originally from India and now based in London, UK.Dr. Deepa Apte is the founder of Ayurveda Pura @ayurvedapura and her company manufactures authentic Ayurvedic Products. She also runs the Ayurveda Pura Academy through which she trains people to qualify as Ayurvedic Practitioners and Yoga Teachers.
This session will focus on Ayurvedic practices and herbs to help improve immunity during the pandemic.

Session 4:
Our fourth session, ‘The Mind according to Yoga and Indian Philosophy, will be held by Arjun Arora, founder of Sarveda & co-founder of Shakti. In this session, Arjun will share insights into how the ancient Indian traditions looked at the mind and the ego and how certain practices of Gnayna, Dhyana and Pranayama can help deal with the different situations in life.
Arjun teaches Yoga & Pranayama at Shakti, Beirut and also works with digital organizations in the space of Marketing and Growth. He is a graduate of IIT Madras and is passionate about philosophy, music and inner and outer explorations.
This session will be held live on Zoom and Instagram/Facebook from 7:30-8:30 pm IST on the 13th of May, 2021.
Session 5:
Our final session will be a calming ‘Yoga Nidra’ session conducted by Sowmya Ayyar, a Yoga practitioner and founder of Prafull Oorja, an NGO which trains yoga therapists to implement sustainable programs with communities in vulnerable conditions.
Yoga Nidra is a relaxing form of Yoga to help reduce stress and improve one’s connection with their own self and the world around.
This session will be held live on Zoom and Instagram/Facebook from 7:30-8:30 pm IST on the 14th of May, 2021.
